The main shopping area in Terminal 1 is called The Loop. This is a shopping concourse found in Ireland’s three biggest airports – Dublin, Shannon and Cork. The Loop is established in both terminals, so there is no need for those flying through T1 to make a trip to T2. All of their shopping needs can be met right here.
The Loop runs a complimentary ‘Shop and Collect’ service that streamlines the airport shopping experience. As long as you are travelling within the European Union, this service allows you to shop before you fly and then collect your merchandise upon your return. You’ll need a photo ID and your receipt to pick up your items. They’ll be waiting for you in the Arrivals Hall at the designated collection point, so you can pick them up after clearing security and picking up your luggage.
Most of the shops in Terminal 1 are located after the security checkpoint and are only available to ticketed passengers. A few are landside. Bear in mind that some of the shops associated with The Loop are in satellite extensions around Gates 301 to 313 and Gates 101 to 220. This is a list of all the shops in Dublin Airport Terminal 1:
