Dublin Airport has all the conveniences of a modern international airport, but it’s still small and compact enough to be easily navigated. Along those lines, it won’t take long for your luggage to find you.

Once you have landed and cleared passport control, you will enter into the main Arrivals hall. In Terminal 1, there are nine luggage carousels in operation. They’ll have signs indicating which carousel is handling the luggage for which flight. Bags are seldom lost. But if a situation like this does occur, it needs to be sorted through the airline.

Once you have collected your bags, you’ll need to queue in the appropriate customs declaration line. Those with nothing to declare take the blue channel. Random checks are held, so it’s a good idea to going ahead and submit a custom’s declaration form for any items in question. This can be done at the red check point.
