This is an unofficial guide to Dublin Airport T1

Airport Transport

Getting to and from Dublin Airport Terminal 1 is easy. The fact that Terminal 2 is now operating side by side with the old terminal is no problem, since each has its own dedicated approach. In fact, getting to and from Terminal 1 is now easier than it used to be, since T2 is sharing the throughput.

Some of the facilities, including those for transport by bus and hire car, are located between the two terminals. Passengers can reach them by entering the covered walkway connecting the two and exiting where the signs indicate. Short-term parking across from the entrance is dedicated expressly to Terminal 1. Long-term car parks are shared by both terminals.

Car rental

Cheap car hire in Dublin Airport is one of the most practical means of getting to and from Terminal 1. It’s also much more affordable than relying on taxis. Be sure to book early for the chance to clinch promotional rates that are only available online.

Buses

A fleet of more than 700 buses pull through here every day. Many of them offer service directly to the terminal entrance, letting passengers off at Terminal 2 before stopping at the old terminal.

Taxis

Metered taxis queue at the rank immediately outside Terminal 1. Drivers provide service in a 30-kilometre radius of the terminal and issue receipts on request.
